Board of Directors meetings:
 
The November meeting is postponed until December 15 due to the Thanksgiving holiday.
The December meeting is cancelled due to the holiday season.
 
All meetings start at 6:00 p.m. at the clubhouse, and all start with an Open Forum for homeowners to meet with the board on any item of association business.

Chancellors Ridge Board of Directors Mission
Hello neighbors! As you know, control of the Chancellor's Ridge Home Owners Association transferred from the developer to the homeowners in July 2003 and a Board of Directors was elected.  The Board is excited about the homeowners now having control of our community!  The mission of the Board is to:

• Enhance and preserve the character and integrity of our community.
• Increase overall property values of Association members.
• Give a fair hearing to legitimate homeowner issues and make decisions in the overall best interest of the Association members.
• Exercise prudent fiscal management.
• Maintain an appropriate level of community services and preserve Association assets.
• Foster community involvement.
• Conduct business in accordance with the Homeowner Association By-laws.

Our community will only be as good as the level of effort that we, the homeowners, invest in it.  The board wants to hear from each of you so we can make informed decisions that will benefit our community as a whole. We also thank you, in advance, for your active participation in and support of our community.

Chancellor's Ridge Board of Directors Bio’s :

President - John Gunter
John has resided on Baccalaureate Blvd since June, 2005.  He was elected to a second term on the HOA Board of Directors in September, 2009.  During his first term, he served as Secretary.  He is a Durham native and a chemistry graduate of both UNC and NCSU.  He currently is employed as Laboratory Manager for Cormetech, Inc., an environmental technology company, and was previously employed in photographic film manufacturing management positions with Eastman Kodak Company.  He has previously served as a homeowner association Treasurer and President for his neighborhood in Pittsford, NY.  The Gunters have three adult sons.  

Vice-President- Kim Preslar
Kim is a marketing program manager in Marketing Communications for Lenovo (formerly the IBM PC Division) with a specialty in interactive advertising and marketing. Kim is responsible for marketing strategy and execution, budget, and real-time tracking & analysis for multiple marketing programs. She is a native of NC and moved to Chapel Hill in the 90's to attend the Journalism School at UNC where she graduated. Kim has been a member of the Chancellor's Ridge Board since it was turned over to homeowners. She has served as Secretary and Member At-Large prior to Vice President. Kim has many outside interests, but enjoys spending time with her daughter, Grace, the most.
